Dog fouling remains a persistent problem in many of our public spaces, including pavements, parks, paths and grassed areas. Aside from being unpleasant, dog waste can pose a health risk, particularly to children, and makes shared spaces less enjoyable for everyone. Most dog owners act responsibly and clean up after their pets, but the actions of a small minority continue to cause frustration within our communities. Keeping our public spaces clean is a shared responsibility, and there really is no excuse for failing to pick up after your dog.
